Kids say the darnedest things right? As parents, we find many of the things the kids say absolutely hilarious. Whether they are to other people or not is unknown. There are some things not blog-appropriate (Jason's Thanksgiving "meditation" saying a few years ago), but some are just super cute and I don't ever want to forget. Here is one from today after Caitlin went to the bathroom:
Caitlin: "Mommy, I still have an egg in my belly"
Me: "An egg? Why do you have an egg in your belly?"
Caitlin: "Because I still have a belly-egg"
Me: "you mean belly-ache baby doll"
Poor girl, thinks there is some mean ol' egg in her tummy making it feel sick.
