4th of July 2010

This year the 4th of July was packed full of fun.  We started out the morning at Craig and Shelby's house for their annual neighborhood parade.  The firetruck came from Station 30 to lead the group. Caitlin was in major meltdown mode and was very sad that her little legs couldn't keep up with the big kids and the truck. We decided putting her with baby Jillian was a better idea and even took a short cut through the neighborhood to catch up.

Next up we went to the neighbors behind us for a Blackridge Ave. block party. This gang gets together frequently and we decided it would be nice to make an appearance and be neighborly.  It was very hot and Caitlin needed a nap so I didn't last too long but Brian and Jason stuck around for a game of wiffle ball. They were still going strong when we got home late that night too!

Last but definitely not least we headed over to the Westberg's for a bbq and fireworks. As always we had a great time with this group as their are good friends for each of us! The Clays, Worthens, Youngs, Westbergs, Gaabs and Hafensteins always know how to have fun together.
