Food Food Food!!!

So, should you not know this about us by now... we LOVE good food! The best food for us comes from our favorite restaurants in San Luis Obispo. Whenever we decide to visit SLO, we immediately start planning out our eating route. Being this as it is... I decided to dedicate an entire post to the various restaurants we visited on our vacation last week to The Cliffs at Shell Beach.

First up, Firestone Grill. We went to Firestones twice on our trip, and even tried for a third but the kids weren't having it. Brian and I met while working at Firestones in April 2000.  Not only is it the best food EVER, but it obviously holds a sentimental place in our hearts. Jason loves the food and enjoys hearing how he has Firsteone running through his blood. He has plans to go to Cal Poly for college and work at Firestones as well.  Fine by us, we'll visit every weekend!!

The first dinner, we ate at the Marisol Restaurant located at The Cliffs. The food was amazing and the view was perfect!

Our first breakfast we went to Old West Cinnamon Rolls in Pismo Beach. These Cinnamon Rolls are the best we've ever had and we were so happy to be able to experience the yummy-ness with the kids.

Splash Cafe has the most amazing clam chowder you can imagine. Caitlin tried her first Calamari and LOVED it. She asked for "little squiddies" constantly for the rest of the trip. She even ate the gross octopus looking ones!

We also visited Woodstock Pizza and Mondeo Pronto, both in downtown San Luis Obispo. We got in all the places we planned on and are already missing the wonderful food of SLO!
