There is a pumpkin patch called "Goblin Gardens" in Natomas where most local families go to find their pumpkins. Although it is a great place with lots of attractions, they also have a cover charge and full parking lot. This year, we decided to go just down the street to Perry's Pumpkin Patch, where we enjoyed a wonderful fall evening, without the crowds and still had a great time. There was a mini corn maze (and full size which we gladly avoided), a large lot of pumpkins and a great farm stand where we stocked up on peaches (yumm, cobbler in the oven now!) and other produce. We got our usual three pumpkins, one for me, Jason and Caitlin which we will carve in the next couple weeks. Daddy isn't a fan of the pumpkin carving experience, so it is something I happily do with the kids every year.
