2nd Saturday

While Jason hung out with Grammy, Grandpa, Auntie and fam at the River House, Brian and I decided to take Caitlin on a solo outing to Second Saturday in downtown Sacramento. The second Saturday of each month art galleries in mid-town Sacramento are kept open late and there is music, dancing, and more on the streets. We took Caitlin out to sushi at Tamaya where we had average service and food, but a great time. Caitlin has become quite the toddler-pro at chopsticks and despite the late dinner (7pm!), she held it together very well and was a joy to be with. It is so nice every once in a while to have solo time with one of the kids. It doesn't happen often that we both are able to be with just one of them, but it is nice when it does happen so we are able to give them special attention.
