We only planned for two days to conquer Disneyland and California Adventure and knew we couldn't waste any time. We got some gift shop poncho's and made our way in. Neither of the kids have ever been and though we knew Jason would have a blast, we were a little nervous about Caitlin and hoped that Jason's endurance would hold up.
About an hour or two into Sunday, the rain passed and it was warm and sunny for the rest of our short trip. We managed to hit up every major ride (many multiple times) and a good amount of the little ones. Caitlin and Grandma stopped for a short rest on Sunday afternoon, but other than that we were on the move. Disneyland has a great system for families with children who are too small to ride the attractions meant for the older kids and adults. For each ride Caitlin wasn't big enough to go on, Jason plus 2 adults would go and one would stay behind with Cait. The ride attendant would then give us a "switch off fast pass" which would allow two people to go right away in the fast pass lane. So as soon as Jason + 2 came off the ride, the adult who was waiting would go right back on with J. So for the most part, Jason got to ride everything multiple times! Thanks to the "Unofficial Guide to Disneyland 2008", we were able to make wonderful use of our time and really enjoy the parks. The kids were PERFECT ages to go, and it was so wonderful seeing it through their eyes. Everyone was very tired at the end of our two days, but has wonderful memories. Here are a ton of pictures, there were so many and I couldn't weed them out.... enjoy!

Waiting in line for Dumbo with Caitlin's fat lip. She was so excited to ride, she fell as she was trying to pass Jason and cut her lip. After a quick cry and clean up, we went for it anyways. Glad we did, she loved Dumbo. Caitlin was cracking up as Jason made us go up and down.

THIS was the most amazing part of the trip. Except for when she was an infant, Caitlin has NEVER fallen asleep in a stroller. On Monday, day two, we decided to give her her pacifier and see what would happen. After just a short while, she fell asleep! We couldn't believe it. In this uncomfortable umbrella stroller, she slept for at least an hour and allowed us to stay at Dland and DCA for open-close. She was a champ!

Looks like fun! I love Disneyland! Glad you had a good trip. We went in the rain when I was like 9 and it was the best trip ever. I don't think we had to wait for anything. Kids are so great!
