Our European adventure kicked off with a FULL day of travel... train to Oakland, flight to Paris, LONG layover and then flight to Munich and taxi to our hotel and straight to bed. We woke up the next day and explored Munich and tasted authentic German food and beer. It was a nice way to adapt to the language, money and time change before getting our rental car and head towards Salzburg.
We hit some traffic on our way but made it
right in time for our
Sound of Music bike tour. Caitlin and I had been looking forward to this for a very long time and Rob and Jason were great sports. We explored Salzburg in the evening and next morning but it was too short. Next up, Fussen!
