When we moved into this house 3 1/2 years ago, the little boy who occupied Jason's room had a wonderful city skyline on one wall and clouds and glow in the dark stars all around the rest of the room. Being 7 months pregnant at the time and moving into a much larger home than we previously had, we had enough on our plates to do and left Jason's room the way it was. He loved it, and we figured it would last a couple years. Now that he's 8 1/2, it was definitly time to ditch the clouds and move on to a more big kid room.
After wanting a red and black room (um, no!), Jason settled on a dark grey-blue color (bleached denim to be exact). I also promised him chalkboard paint which we have in one spot. He asked for a football room, but since the 49er colors didn't exactly match the paint, I ordered this great football decal called "sudden shadows". He loves his new room!

Comparing these pictures, the paint color really doesn't look that different in the before and after. I swear it is! His old color was a sky blue and this is much more grey and darker.
Third time looking at this post.... maybe, just maybe we'll paint one wall green to match the stripe in his bedding... or orange??

...and you said you didn't know if you could do it! This is great!!! You did such a good job! I love his bedding and the shadow football player. Two thumbs up! :)
