The weather has been so yucky lately and Caitlin has been talking about playing in the rain. Brian and Jason were playing catch last weekend in the rain, and Cait wanted to go find some puddles to jump in. I got her all geared up and ready to stomp. The puddles in Natomas are nothing compared to what I used to enjoy growing up in the flood filled streets of East Sacramento. The fancy drainage systems out here rarely leave any puddles or mud to jump in. Last year we were able to find some decent puddles on the bike path, but this time, not much. This puddle Caitlin is playing in wast he biggest one around. Not kidding. It was right in front of our house so it was perfect to watch Daddy and Jason too. Caitlin had fun and didn't seem to mind the tiny puddles. Next storm we need to head to Grammy and Grandpas and show her what a REAL puddle looks like.
