To prepare for Christmas, the kids and I joined some of our Mommy and kid friends and went to Petroglyphs in Roseville for some pottery painting. I used to take Jason to do this quite often when he was little, but have only gone once since Caitlin was born. It's always nice to get together with friends, it gives us all people to chat with while we worked (and "we" meaning the kids, I didn't have to do any of it this year except write their names!). We finished the morning with a quick lunch at Noah's Bagels and went home to our husbands who I'm sure couldn't stand the peace and quiet.
