What happened to these boys? They used to be so cute...
Every year the various Little Leagues around town have a "Little League Day at Raley Field". Saturday was the chosen day for North Natomas. Only about four kids from Jason's team (Tennessee Volunteers) could be there, and none of the coaches were available. Brian joined Jason on the field for the parade, and then we hung out in our seats until the 7th inning stretch.
It was VERY cold and windy by the time the sun set, and we were not prepared at all. Jason's friend Josh and his mom sat with us and even shared their Cotton Candy.
Sunday was the league's End of Year picnic (even though they have three more games). It is a time for the team to get together and be presented with their trophy's, and then free time to play on the water slides and bounce houses.
