Pumpkin carving

From left to right, Daddy's "blank" (as Jason says) pumkin, Jason's skull, mine and Cait's.

Caitlin's beautiful pumpkin.

Check out that "Hafenstein concentration face". It's genetic.

The kids and I carved and decorated pumpkins today. This isn't an event that Daddy enjoys very much, don't ask me why. So, his mini pumpkin stayed blank while the rest of ours are very festive. Jason chose a Skull (most of which I did of course) and Caitlin had fun scribbling on hers. This was the first year when Jason was entrusted with the carving knife and he did a pretty good job getting the top off. He needed my help for the rest :)
