So, rather than a boring ol' relaxing mother's day, the Hafenstein/Clark/Jones clans met at Bertha Henschel park for a lunchtime picnic, playtime and nice competitive game of kickball. The weather was perfect, no crowds and good food. Except for a few minor injuries and cheating attempts, everyone seemed to have fun.
My camera battery died before the game started, so I'll have to post more pics later when I get them from Grandpa or Auntie. The Hafenstein's came prepared to kick some .... bottom. I recovered later with a nice pedicure :)
