Memorial Day at the River House

I had been looking forward to this weekend for months... the River House is a place that is like no other. It's so wonderful to be able to spend time together as a family and relax and enjoy some down time. We had two owl's on the property this year, a baby (below) and then a mom or dad in another tree. We watched and tried to figure out what they were up to and why they were awake during the daytime.

Caitlin tried out her new wake board (Ryan too) and they got in some tube time. The water was cold and stronger than normal because of the high water levels in the lakes and snow melt from the mountains. The temperature outside was perfect though and we got a lot of time in the sun.

Unfortunately this was Sammie's last time at her favorite place on earth.... we will forever cherish our time with her there.
