Washington DC

Get ready for lots of pictures! I was in New York for work and my parents were kind enough to fly the kids out to meet me in DC. Spring break was near and I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to show them our Nation's Capitol. I'm so thankful that it worked out. We had four nights together in DC and the days were packed full. We saw so many sites and really got a feel for this amazing city.

Filomina's restaurant -- we didn't eat here until the last night. It was one of a kind!

The White House

Looking at the Washington Monument from the Jefferson Monument. At sunrise, hoping for a good view of the Cherry Blossoms but it was overcast and they were already almost all gone :(

My dad took this picture. The kids and I were laying on the ground with our feet pointing up towards the sky against the Washington Monument. We were copying other people that we saw doing this. My dad's picture was much more interesting that the ones I took (above)

Arlington National Cemetary
The kids were face-timing Grandma. Her dad (Brian's grandfather) is buried there.

Changing of the guard

Goofing around in Georgetown on our last night.

Coming out of a simulator, I felt sick....
