Conversation in the car with my kids

Caitlin: "My favorite animal is the monkey, except the ones that eat their own poop"
Jason: "My favorite animal is the cat but dad's alergic so we can't get one, nevermind my favorite animal is the corn snake"
Me: "when I was little my favorite animal was the elephant"
Cait: "How do elephant's eat?"
J: "with their trunks, they grab the food with their trunk and put it in their mouth. Why is a trunk in cars in the back when elephant trunks are in the front?"
Cait: "Elephant's are my favorite animal that doesn't eat their poop".
Can't make this stuff up, they're awesome.
