First day of school!

We have a 5th grader and a kindergartner! I can't believe that 5 years ago Jason was just starting Kindergarten, and I was 8 months pregnant with Caitlin. He is so different than she is at the same age, and the school has also changed so much. Because of the budget, there are 34 kids in each kid's class class. It doesn't scare Caitlin though, she got right in there and sat on the carpet with her hands in her lap excitedly waiting for the year to begin. Jason was assigned to a teacher who has a reputation for giving out lots of homework, but we're approaching the year as a fresh start and trying to be as positive as possible! The kids are at the same school for the first time ever, and this starts a new chapter in the Hafenstein household. We're looking forward to all the new experiences the kids will have this year and hope they learn a lot and make new friends.
