Tonight, after 6 months of practice, $15 per person admission, the tacky costume, gobs of hairspray and having to sit through 20+ other performances, Caitlin had her very first dance recital :) She and Avary were on the opposite side of each other which means that part of their dance was done backwards. Also, Ms. Vanessa (the helper) stood almost exactly in front of them so I didn't get many pictures. I'm hoping Avary's mommy or my dad will have some that turned out OK. The girls were a little lost and a LOT cute.
When all the dances were done, the teacher called all the girls back onstage for a final bow. Caitlin decided she wanted to hang out for a while up there. She danced and ran around for a good 15 minutes and was the last to leave the stage (forced by me, close to kicking and screaming). Just as I was thinking we were done with dance, Caitlin said how much she wants to continue to do it.
