Melmo!

Brian and I always say how Jason was fascinated with watching TV. Even from a young age, if we put on the TV, he would stop immediately and stare blankly, not moving until we turned it off. When he wasn't watching TV or Movies, he was on the go, never sitting still. It was very challenging for us, as parents, not to just turn on the tube and get him to sit still.

Now we have the opposite with Caitlin. She has NO desire to watch TV. She barely even notices it when it is on. That is until..... MELMO!!! Just within the last week or so Cait has discovered Elmo. Yesterday, just to see what she'd do, I pulled out one of Jason's old VHS tapes of "Elmos' World: babies, dogs and more..." (all of Caitlin's favorite things mind you) and low and behold, she sat in her little chair, dolly by her side and watched Elmo for a good 15 minutes!

It just left me enough time to throw in a load of laundry, but it was something! We may be on to something here... stay tuned :)
